Information about our 3-way Clubsport coilover kits:

For the new 3-way KW Clubsport coilover kits KW has designed special racing shock absorbers with reservoirs. At the patented two-way valve, which is mounted in a separate reservoir, the compression damping level in highspeed and lowspeed can be adjusted independently and easily with precise control wheel. The lowspeed compression damping can be finely adjusted with 7 clicks, the highspeed compression damping offers an adjustability of 14 clicks.

With the compression damping the driving behaviour can be influenced significantly. A harder lowspeed setting for example causes at the front axle a more direct steering response, and can counteract the oversteer at the rear axle. This happens without a negative influence to the deflection behavior of the highspeed damping range, for example during fast driving over curbs, shoulders, and bumps.
With an ergonomic formed rebound adjustment wheel, which can be comfortably used from the engine compartment, you can reach the adjustable rebound valve in the piston. With 18 clicks the rebound can be perfectly adjusted for every usage. With only a little effort it offers more comfort, for example during the trip to the race track, where it can be adjusted without a major effort to improve handling and steering precision, especially at high speeds.

For the setup we used our own 7-post rig for development, just like the 24h-winner Manthey Racing. Suitable to the street-legal Dunlop Direzza Sport tires, the damping and spring rates of the new 3-way KW Clubsport coilover kits were adapted perfectly to the Nuerburgring Nordschleife.

Additionaly, in camber adjustable aluminium top mounts will be preassembled, which in combination with the adjustable KW Clubsport dampers offer an optimal setup for other sports tires and race tracks.

Thanks to the maintenance-free components, a sophisticated dust protection system, especially for coilover strut housings and the ingenious elastomers with integrated dust protection and combination of KW inox-line stainless steel strut housings at Mc Pherson – axels and the aluminium strut housings with not wheel leading dampers guarantees that all components were tested and approved for the year-round street use according to the standards in the automotive industry.

 

The C-Class Coupé, the little brother of E-Class Coupé, has some similarities with his only 11 cm longer brother:
Arrow-shaped nose, flat windscreen and a sovereign casual roof downturn.

Also for the entry-level Coupé, we now have coilover kits available.

Improvements by the KW coilover kit:

- When driving slow as well as driving fast, the high level of driving comfort of the serial suspension remains
- The standard low body movements will be reduced even more with the installation of this coilover kit
- The spongy braking behaviour of the vehicle will be eliminated. The car is much more stable and easier to control
- In the range of agility, you will find the greatest improvements: The combined steering of the vehicle will be eliminated. Therefore the vehicle will be much more agile
- CONCLUSION: With the installation of the KW coilover kit, the C-Class Coupé will be noticeable more agile, but the comfort of the serial suspension still remains.
